Terms and conditions

These terms apply to everyone who registers for Prathidhwani Kalolsavam on this website. By entering an item you accept them.

Who may enter

• Entry is for employees of member companies of the IT community, as decided by the organising committee, and for their children where an item is for children.
• You register under your own name and with your own mobile number. A team captain may enter other members of their team.
• The committee may ask you to show your employee identity card or membership card at the venue.

Entries

• An entry is confirmed only when the fee for it has been received.
• One person may enter an item once. You cannot enter the same item twice, and you cannot be in two teams for the same item.
• A team is from one company. A company may enter more than one team in an item where the committee allows it, but no person may be in more than one of them.
• You cannot enter two items scheduled at the same time. The site refuses a clash when you try.
• The committee may limit how many entries one company may have in an item. That limit is shown when you register.
• Details you give — names, ages, categories — must be accurate. An entry found to be wrong may be withdrawn, and a placing awarded on wrong details may be cancelled.

Fees

• The fee is shown before you pay and is charged per item. It is the fee in force at the moment you register: a later change never alters what you have already paid.
• Payment is made through the method shown at checkout. We do not see or store your card, bank or UPI credentials.
• If you pay by transferring and entering a reference, your entry is confirmed once an organiser has matched it against the bank statement. This can take a little time.

On the day

• Bring your pass. Chest numbers are given out at the stage in the order people report, and are not reissued.
• Report at the time published in the programme. An item may be held, moved or combined if the schedule demands it.
• The judges’ decisions are final. The committee will hear a written complaint about procedure, but not about a judgement.
• The committee may refuse or remove anyone behaving in a way that endangers or harasses others, or that disrupts the fest.

Changes and cancellation by us

An item needs at least 5 entries to run — 2 teams for a team item. An item with fewer than that when registration closes may be cancelled, and we will tell everyone who entered it.

The committee may also change the programme, the venue, the timings or the rules of an item, and may cancel one if a stage becomes unusable or for any other reason on our side. Where we cancel an item you have paid for, the fee is refunded in full — see the refunds and cancellation policy.

Photographs and results

Results, including participants’ names, companies and placings, are published on this website and may be shared by the organisers. Photographs and video taken at the venue may be used by the organisers to report on the fest. If you would rather not appear, tell the organisers at the venue.

Your account

Keep your sign-in details to yourself. Tell us at once if you think somebody else has used your account. Do not attempt to gain access to anybody else’s entries, or to disrupt the site.

Liability

Participants take part at their own risk. The organisers are not responsible for personal belongings, nor for injury other than that caused by their own negligence. Nothing here limits any right you have that cannot be limited by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala have jurisdiction.
